PUBLIC HEARING ON

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF NAPA COUNTY TRANSPORATION AND PLANNING AGENCY TO ADOPT THE UNIFORM PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTING ACT PROVIDING INFORMAL BIDDING PROCEDURES AS REQUIRED BY LAW 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at 1:30 pm in the NCTPA Conference Room, 707 Randolph St. Suite 100, Napa, California, a public hearing will be conducted by the Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA) at which time the NCTPA Board will consider the adoption of an ordinance to adopt the Uniform Public Construction Cost Account Act pursuant to California Government Code section 22000, et seq. providing informal bidding procedures as authorized by law.  This ordinance establishes the upper dollar limit for which a contract for construction may be let by informal bidding procedures, and subjects NCTPA to the California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting procedures.  Currently, the upper limit is $175,000, and may be amended by state law from time to time.

All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and be heard. If you challenge any action related to this proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered at, or prior to, the public hearing.

This summary is provided in order to meet the requirements of California Government Code Sections 50022.3.   A copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is available for review at the NCTPA offices located at 707 Randolph St. Suite 100, Napa, California, (707) 259-8631.

Request for Proposals (RFP 2011-04) for Advanced Farebos System Services

Napa County Transportation and Planning Agencay (NCTPA) is issuing a RFP from qualified firms to perform a comprehensive review of the VINE Transit fare collection needs and develop functional requirements for the replacement of the VINE Transit farboxes and associated equipment.  NCTPA invites firms or individuals that possess qualifications, experience, and knowledge to submit a proposal.  Proposals must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. (PST) on Thursday January 5, 2012
 

Request for Proposal (RFP 2011-05) Website Redesign Services

 Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA) is issuing a RFP from professional firms to completely overhaul NCTPA's website; for the implementation of a Content Management System (CMS); and for routine maintenance for the website by Agency employees.  NCTPA invites firms and individuals that possess qualifications, experience, and knowledge to sumit a proposal.  Proposals must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. (PST) on thursday January 5, 2012.

Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA)has just announced that it has extended the due date to Friday, August 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. for the construction of its new Transit Center located at 4th Street and Burnell Street in Napa, California.  Bids will be received at the NCTPA Offices located at 707 Randolph Street, Suite 100 Napa CA 94559, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

TFCA Program Extends the Call for Projects for FY 2011-12
 
At their July 20th meeting the NCTPA Board extended the TFCA call for projects for the FY 2011-12 program cycle.  The deadline for project submittals is now 5:00 PM on Monday, September 12th.  If you  would like to learn more about the TFCA Program or are interested in submitting a project   please view the TFCA Napa County Guidance and Application on the NCTPA web site under Projects & Programs - Transportation for Clean Air.

New VINE Route 29 Monthly Pass to BART
06/01/2011
VINE transit will launch a new monthly pass for frequent commuters using the Route 29 Express Service to the El Cerrito del Norte BART station.  The new Route 29 Monthly Pass will be available for the low introductory price of only $118.  July passes go on sale June 1st and may be used starting Tuesday, July 5, 2011.   The pass is good for unlimited trips to BART during the month.

Applicants Sought for the Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency Bicycle Advisory Committee

The County Executive Officer announces the existence of two (2) General Public openings on the Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA) Bicycle Advisory Committee.
